About Me.
Growing up I never knew what I wanted to do when I became a “grown up.” I spent years of my childhood trying to decide if my favorite color was pink or red (spoiler alert: it's blue).
My junior year of high school I joined the tv production class, newspaper at my high school, and did tech crew for the plays and musicals at school. These activities would ultimately determine my true passion for journalism and production. I would consider myself as someone who enjoys connecting with people and talking about my experiences. I view journalism to be just that, a way of connecting through experience. My personal experiences with traveling to Ecuador and Honduras have shaped me to have this openness to others. Through my travels, I have been able to learn more about my Ecuadorian and Honduran heritage. My family has played a significant role in shaping me into the person that I am today character-wise, which I believe influences my form of expression. I express myself through my writing, photography, and videos. My time at Millersville University studying journalism and public relations have refined my writing and communication skills. I hope that my skills, experiences, and character make me a valuable asset to the media and production industry. |
View of Tortuga Bay in Santa Cruz, Galapagos, Ecuador. I took this trip in 2018, I have to say it's one of my favorites!
This photo of my mother and I is from my trip in Cuenca, Ecuador, in December of 2020.
